People are forced to abandon and flee their homes out of fear or violence or impossible economic circumstances and when they reach areas of supposed safety and relative peace and prosperity, they are refused help and are instead punished and degraded. This print is an attempt to understand the use of language in relation to those people and how we treat them. It is also my hope to get beyond semantics and see humanity, or the lack there of, for what it is.
