"This Land" references the first line from Woody Guthrie's song "This land is your land, this land is my land". I created an embroidered sampler using these iconic lyrics and impressed them into a soft ground for etching. The sampler represents Folk art, art of community and tradition. Upon reflection of the words, one wonders, What is this land and is it truly ours?
