Growing up as siblings, our family's Passover Seders taught us about our people's ancient journey to liberation.
Our Great-Uncle Simon's Passover Haggadah connected the Exodus story to our own family's immigration to the United States, to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, and to more recent struggles for justice around the world.
We continue this tradition in Seders that we lead today, seeking to learn from the varied histories and experiences of the Jews and non-Jews alike who gather around our tables.
Together, we create rituals to work towards liberation today.
