This print is a gentle call to action. The subtle reminder to "do something" is accompanied by imagery including eyes, mouths, and hands that are the bodily instruments of protest. This print was produced using a stencil method of monotype. The paper stencils were cut using a laser engraver and used to block areas of ink rolled out on a plexiglass matrix. The stencils were then removed after being printed and the "ghost" image was printed on another sheet of paper. There are 3 layers of ink interacting on the print's surface. Each print is unique, but unified through similar coloration, imagery, and message.
